Md Faim Islam is a Birmingham-based visual artist working primarily in acrylic, blending realism with symbolic and surrealist elements. Inspired by astronomy, archaeology, and zodiac motifs, his work explores colour theory and emotional depth through material experimentation. He has exhibited internationally, with solo shows at Zainul Gallery (University of Dhaka) and The REP Theatre Birmingham, and received awards including the Bangabandhu Award and Gold Medal from the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission.
Faim is also active in curating community-focused exhibitions and leading cultural events like the UNESCO-recognised Mongol Shobhajatra.
