The Colourful Reminiscence

Those memorable childhood days are like a living picture, when I gasp in the brick and stone life of the city, when I let the deep depression in my chest float in the air and dose my eyes and lean my body in a comfortable position and go to sleep, the first picture that floats in front of my eyes is the crooked path of the village, Rows of palm trees, duplex soil building which was like a nest of peace, open windows to the south, pure air of dense green nature.

The best gift of my life in my childhood was the small horse given to me by my grandfather. I used to play on grandpa’s back, often went to see the horse races. Soon after the sad memories of grieving the untimely death of the gifted horse. Even today, in my dreams, I ride horse in a horse race and move forward in the open field ofgrain- green fields and see the clear colored sky.

Every colorful moment of childhood is a zodiac sign, there the feelings keep changing with the rotation of life.Although it may change with the situation but it is largely dependent on the determined result of the zodiac sign.

Every moment of childhood is like the smile of a beautiful woman who conquers the world, even if it ends, it remains in the heart. The colorful dreams of childhood are painted in colors. I have decorated these scenes of my life in a colorful canvas in the album of precious memories. In the poet’s words-| still remember those childhood rhymes, I wish I could turn the magic wand and go back to that crazy times!!

In the process I have chosen 5 different elements for this, for example: favorite food, Animal, object, place, memories, color etc. I have chosen places, childhood memories, Horses, zodiac sign and colors.

Step1: I made multiple different compositions with all the elements and gradually after several trials and errors, made a pencil sketch with the final composition.

Step2: I have started using colors, acrylic and water colors. I have chosen cerulean blue, lemon yellow, vibrant pink, yellow ochre, purple, cobalt blue, etc because this is my preferred color palette. After multiple color corrections, we finalized a complete 2D painting.

Step 3: Using the colors and some textures from my painting, I made an abstract version of it. For that I have made a mixture of few colours then I have chosen the technique of paint splatter, used different type of brush strokes as the final abstract painting.

Step 4: I re-created our 2D painting into complete 3D format. First I have designed the 3D model with some required tweaks and made changes from the painting version then chose various materials to make it. I have used plywood board for base and square box, cork sheet for sign, 1mm galvanized iron wire and brown paper for horse etc.
